The Vancouver Southsiders are the longest‑standing and largest independent supporter group of Vancouver Whitecaps FC. We’re a passionate, volunteer‑run community dedicated to creating an electric matchday atmosphere.
What do the Southsiders do on matchday?
On matchdays, we lead chants and songs for the full 90 minutes. We also organize the famous March to the Match, leaving Dublin Calling 45 minutes before kick-off.
Where are the Southsiders located in BC Place?
The Southsiders are located in Section 254, behind the south goal. This is a standing supporters section where fans actively support the team for the entire match.

What are the expectations of supporters in Section 254?
Section 254 is an active supporters section. You are expected to stand, participate in chants, and be respectful to fellow supporters and staff.
How does Southsiders membership work?
Southsiders membership is annual. Anyone can join, season ticket holder or not. Memberships fund tifo, events, and supporter initiatives.

Welcome! Pick up your scarf and card at any Supporter Warm-up event at Dublin Calling before weekend home matches. If you live outside the lower mainland, email membership@vancouversouthsiders.ca.

Do I need to be a member to stand in Section 254?
Membership is encouraged but not required to purchase tickets in Section 254. Come see what we’re about! Members get priority access and discounted rates.
Is Section 254 family‑friendly?
Yes, but be aware it is a high-energy environment with loud drums, flags, and the occasional profanity.
How can I get involved?
Volunteers are our core. Join our Discord server and message a board member to help with tifo, stadium setup, or other roles!
