Almost year ago, the 2016 executive board asked the members to make significant changes to our leadership structure, reducing the number of board positions in an attempt to entrust some of their responsibilities to the membership, and to encourage everybody to step up. And step up you all did!

Nothing pleases me more than reading heartfelt thank you notes (PART 1, PART 2, and PART 3) written by the three key board members to conclude their season and acknowledge members for giving their valuable time to make the Southside a successful community and a strong group, rising to new heights. I’d also like to thank Mike Perzel, Axel Gustav, Dim McNami for pitching in with the IT Crowd and Rebecca Contant for her help with away ticket arrangements.

Having the 2017 closing on us, I would like to express my utmost gratitude and appreciation, and thank Aaryn Vivian, Andrew Van Eden, Darcie Kerr, Dylan Callow and John Knox for their hard work and support throughout this challenging year. Despite what happened on the pitch, we can all look back at 2017 with a smile and a sense of accomplishment, because of YOU.
