While Vancouver and its surrounding suburbs (collectively known as the Lower Mainland) cover a vast amount of land, the vibrant downtown core is relatively compact, and as such, it is where you should be looking to stay. Our modest public transportation system can get you to most major attractions situated outside of the downtown core, so no need to rent a car or pay for parking here. We are known for the quality and quantity of diverse restaurants that explore the world's cuisines, and boast an solid craft beer scene. We look forward to seeing you in BC Place and hope that you have a great time in our lovely city!
