Hey Warren. "I remember there was Lord of the Rings animated that came out. The problem was they only did half of the story." A few years ago I bought DVDs of the original Hobbit, that 1 part LOTR movie, and "The Return of the King", done by the same people who did the Hobbit. I watched the Hobbit in Aldergrove circa grade 1 or 2. That summer I badgered my parents to buy me the book. I would say that LOTR was the most important book of my childhood. My parents took me to that "Part 1" movie at a theatre in downtown Vancouver. I remember telling them all the errors in it all the way home. Back then you could only do a fantasy story like this via animation. I don't like the errors in the current movies, but I accept them for what they are, and enjoy them - and look forward to the Hobbit movie this December. Cheers.
