Awesome! I was trying to find someone who wanted a white Jersey and we'd both get 25% off. Now I'll just pick myself up an away one as well!

Does that include white jerseys with name & number on it?
Does anyone know if they're actually selling the training shirt (long sleeves ... Le Toux was wearing it in the fashion show)? I looked in most of the kiosks and couldn't see it. Not online either.
Anyone?
We asked today. They don't know, but said they would get back to us.

I don't see why not, although you might have to pay full price for the lettering.

Thanks Brett. Keep me posted.
The half off a second jersey deal runs until June 24th. They will be getting more of the brown jerseys in stock for Wednesday.
iainmchugh said: So is the promo still going to be on this wednesday? I went after the game and none of the kiosks had anything bigger than a medium.
The white they don't think they are getting restocked, so go early, and head straight to the shop that custmizes (248ish).
BTW... at the BC Place, do they sell the jerseys with player's name & number already on it or do I have to buy a blank one and get it customize there?
They customize them ight there and seem to do them pretty fast.
Anyone buying a third jersey on Wednesday? I was going to buy a white one on Wednesday at the game and maybe we could split the discount?

To all you haters out there... our new brown kit isn't so bad afterall!
If only that hoax were true. No way anyone designs that seriously.
I'm not denying they look good, hell its a classic colour combo, but I do not and never have purchased any of the kits in my collection because I thought they would look great with a pair of jeans. Thats my point, these kits have nothing to do with Whitecaps FC as a football club.
I guess it just come down to why we get these kits in the first place. Is it to rep the team you support and what it means to you, or is it just to wear it as a fashion piece.
Little of both. I don't generally wear jerseys except on game days. This one I would.
I wear my VWFC and Southsiders gear proudly outside of game day, and find it is very often a conversation starter. So a fashion piece and repping your team are not mutually exclusive, in fact it can lead to new fans and friendships, at least in my experience.
If someone wants to get a third kit on Wed, and has a spare discount, I'll gladly get a blue one :)

I think it's only for the white one.

piltdownman just said it was extended for blue and white and long sleeved too.
That isn't official. The lady working at the counter said most people would probably do that for us.

Are any third shirts made with football in mind? They are all cash grabs, and most have little if anything to do with a club's history. Do Barca have a long history with bright orange? Is neon green a traditional Chelsea colour?
The question is who is this "we" in your sentence. We, the Southsiders and hardcore supporters, are a tiny portion of the market for this third shirt.
Honestly, if the "cash grab" is of any concern to you then you should be hanging out with Blue & White Army at the amateur league matches ... and no that's not a dig at Devon. Professional sports are going to always be about the money at some level. If that's bothersome to you, there are alternatives.

So are you saying amateur sport is not a "cash grab" on some level?? It's just a question of who is paying is all.
ETA: oh and I love the third kits.
I'm buying one on Wednesday. I like them. Getting Mr. #4 on your programs. I won't wear this one to games too much, but will outside of games. Which I suppose is the point. At games.... "White is the colour........"
Quick question: If I don't take advantage of the discounted 2nd jersey will I get a ST discount on the single purchase?
Cheers
Probably get the discount ontop of it.

I was being nice to Devon :-) And I love the 3rd kits too. Still hoping for a training kit one of these days.
I like the black training kits, if ever they become available.
How much would a blue jersey be with the discount?

I've outgrown you Devon .... =))
Sounds like the brown warm up sweaters would be big sellers. Anyone else agree?
Yep. I'd be wearing one right now.
I must say, I like them.

I never like those numbers. Is it a "1", is it a "7"? Always hard to tell when they're moving.
GoF said: I never like those numbers. Is it a "1", is it a "7"? Always hard to tell when they're moving.
Easy solution: if you see a Whitecap playing on the field and can't tell if it's 31 or 37, it's 37.
How much is Soccer Express currently charging for customizations with VSS discount?
Are you getting "danimal" on yours? There may be some random outbreaks of DA-Ni-MAL! to the tune of:
It's not the best looking jersey in the world. Is brown got anything to with the Whitecaps?
Speaking with a friend in the retail trade just now. It seems the strategy is as follows:
- Odd number years (2013, 15 etc) replace the Home shirt with a new version
- Even number years (2014, 16 etc) replace the Away shirt with a new version
Not sure on the frequency of replacement 3rd kit but this friend seemed to think that the current 3rd kit would not be used next season (this surprised me a bit, I expected it to be around at least into next season.

Changing shirts every two years is mandated by MLS, with certain limitations.
