SoccerSue said:Neil- I don't know what, if anything, you've been told about where to park at Qwest but for the Timbers game they had all the buses park and let passengers off in the North lot. The buses then stayed there for the duration of the game so when people left the game their bus was easy to find.
Seattle has said they'll hold the Whitecaps supporters until the majority of the home fans have left ( I'd guess 30-45 minutes) and yes, the traffic should have cleared out pretty well by then.
Side note- I'll probably be waiting by the Southsiders' buses after the game so I can chat with some of them before they leave, so tell your drivers if they see a Sounders fan hanging around don't worry, I'm not there to start trouble. :-P
Thanks Sue,Parking passes are $60 to park in the north lot. Because the buses will be arriving early and leaving later than most people a decision was made to save the $120 with the hope that the drivers find street parking near Qwest and then drive to an agreed upon meeting point when the Southsiders exit the stadium.
Thats why someone on each bus should exchange cel numbers with the driver.

We've decided to park in the Qwest lots after all

Not that I would condone such action ... but I'm sure Willy would be over the moon if we honoured him.
rodderzzz said:for those wondering how they can tell the difference between vancouver/seattle fans, in England, the away tickets are printed on different colour paper than the home tickets, for example, away tickets at Anfield have a green trim and the home ones have a red trim. I dont know if the same thing is being applied here, be interesting to hear what the home tickets look like

You will all be getting an email reminding you of what you need to bring shortly

For example my Carrier BELL, charges $6/MB. During the supporters summit even after I added the useless $30 USA package I racked up $300 in roaming charges. Thats more than the rest of my trip combined.

Agreed. But should we be at the front of all three sections (spread out, like at Empire), or should we just fill one of the three sections? Wouldn't we have better "critical mass" for hearing and spreading songs through the latter option? There will be two buses of Southsiders (112 people?) and more driving down independently. So I would guess that there will be 150-200 Southsiders; the remainder will be the sit-down crew from the Empire grandstands. We need to get all the Southsiders together!UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ANY OF YOU SIT DOWN WHEN ASKED TO A FELLOW VANCOUVER "FAN". STAND YOUR GROUND. IT'S OUR PARTY!
