I won't be running for a board position again this year, as with work and family commitments, I just don't have the time, but I will volunteer to assist with the partnership aspect of things, both in dealing with current partners, and obtaining new ones. Or whatever else the elected member needs help with.

I won't be seeking a place on next year's board, but I'd like to continue helping with merchandise, graphic design, and whatever else the board requires in that area. I just won't be available to sell merch on match days, typically.

I'll also come bang a drum occasionally if needed, we'll be even more shorthanded in that regard this coming season with me being absent from most home games and the other primary drummer being out of town for at least half the season. Anyone who has an ounce of rhythm please step up, it would be greatly appreciated. It's a lot of fun, just slightly exhausting.

I won't be seeking a position on next year's board, but will pledge to stick around and help with membership duties through the transition.

I'm willing to help with game day threads/communications, particularly for WFC2. I will be on the tifo crew, capo crew, cleanup crew and yelling unconscionable-things-at-the-referee crew.

Shifting my contribution for next season, I pledge to:

    • volunteer to assist with events and partnerships, particularly in building up the Away viewings to be more of a 'thing'
    • volunteer to assist with tear-down as much as I'm able to
    • look at the opportunity to volunteer with comms in some way
    • look at opportunities to assist with 'back office' administrative stuff for various committees
    • sing, chant, and other such activities with fairly reckless abandon at matches
    • socialise as much as possible, building bridges and doing what I can to connect people in the Southside
    • EDIT: volunteer to join the Blue and White Navy on Bowen again this year, because it's a flat-out neat experience (and will encourage others to join)

  • I pledge to volunteer in any capacity possible regardless as to whether I am elected to do so or not. I can also assist as "that guy who we keep around because he remembers stuff from a while back." I believe the FO have a similar position. ;)

I'd like to help with stadium ops for tifo design/creation and away day duties of course!

As @Salishsea mentions also happy to help with new chants and song ideas. Can offer audio services for such needs, whether it be recording chants/songs or editing together a few videos and making a youtube playlist similar to that which the Reysol fans have for their players/chants if such a thing was thought to be a good idea, etc.

Is the Real McKenzies custom chant a dead concept? I was truly excited for a while.

Dead, no. On life support, yes. I think it's been dropped for now because of their 25th anniversary albums they've just finished recording, and the prep for their upcoming tour, but I'm still trying.

Hopefully after the holidays (if not sooner) I'll have something more concrete.

A chant was well underway, with 3 or 4 "versions" nearly complete for our listening, so I'd be surprised if they flat out dropped it.

    Wow it's been a while

I would like to put my name in for volunteering on the drums again this year as much as I can. Last season with the job was tough to make a lot of matches. I'm going to try and be more dedicated to it all this year.

    See you all next season

If there is anything I can do from Calgary to help with away travel, I'd be glad to pitch in as I have a travel/ticketing background.
