I have over 70 tickets available in Section 301 for next Tuesday's Canucks game.
The price per ticket is $50 all in.
This is a great opportunity for the Southsiders to liven up the crowd at Rogers Arena
The price printed on the tickets is $66.50.
We usually sell tickets in packages to area pubs together with a return bus to the game but because of the short selling period these tickets are unsold.
Each member can buy as few or as many as they like and we do accept credit cards.
I can meet buyers at some of the events at Doolin's this week or we can discuss other options.
Please email me at neil@cbl.ca or call or text me at 604-722-4501

Man. This would be awesome if we could fill it up and show what Southsiders supporting looks like.
If its me and five other guys I wouldn't be that interested. But if we can get close to selling them out...
Neil, I'm assuming standing will be a no-no? Or are the seats at the back?
The seats are in Rows 12, 13, 14 & 15 which I believe are right at the top so standing may not be a problem. I can't speak for Rogers security however
Wow - that would give the Green Guys a run for their money.......
I'm in for three. Sent an email. :)
Thanks for the offer!
Is it worth risking the ire of Canuck's fan by waking them up during a game?

Maybe you could all cheer for Minnesota.... Yikes the other night in Edmonton it was full of Canuck fans chanting LOOOUU
7:00 pm The game is on TSN so the SouthSiders will be heard across the country
I'd be in for 3 or 4 tickets IF a sizeable group of SS were going to go..
That would be so awesome.
Those who attended the tennis event last week did a great job, and it would bring some more exposure to the Southsiders if you belted out some Whitecaps chants while the rest of the crowd is snoozing!
Too bad I will be in Alaska next week, or I would have been interested in joining those who are going!

I'm OK with taking reservations with purchase subject to a sizeable group going to the game. So post your ticket requests here or email/text me and I will keep a count.
where would ticket pick up be?
Just an FYI re: standing at a Canucks game at Rogers arena no problem with row 15 but I cant see the Rogers arena staff allowing 3 rows to stand the whole game.

We could set some times when members will be at Doolin's or I will discuss options with each purchaser. If any of you are in North Delta tickets can be picked up during office hours at our place on River Road.
I will tentatively reserve two for @spurcap and I. We have curling that night but are trying to get the game moved.
Great offer! Way to go! Can't make it, but it gives me a reason to tune in.
Change of plans. I'm in for 3. they're all for Southsiders. Me, Herve, and Kyle G. (That Guy)
Would love to go but vowed I wasn't going to buy any tickets to see them this year. If I were to get a freebie that would be a different story.

Yeah, I was wrestling with that myself. An event I want to support vs. standing on principle. Still not sure if buying second hand violates the spirit of not spending a dime on the NHL this year.
I'm in. Might want to get one more for my girlfriend but put me down for one ticket. I'm the Herve that Kris is referring to.

I'll sell you two Whitecap tickets for $100 and throw in a free Canucks ticket.
They won't let us stand and chant though. And my girfriend is in so put me down for two tickets. Can I pick them up this weekend at Doolins or something?
I'll sort out the pickup details Herve. That way all our seats can be together.

My advice is if there are no people behind you, don't let them stop you. But there is no way they can stop you from making noise. They barely eject people who start fistfights.
Also, i dont see why we cant chant? How is it any different than starting "Coconuts Go!" every 5 minutes? Other than our lyrical supremacy.
I think the rule at Rogers is that you have to wait for the "Let's Make Some Noise" announcement ;-)
Could be some interesting chants. please stop texting,,,,,, please start cheering!!!
There's a few that we could do that dont even need much if any adaptation. "Come on Vancouver" and "We're Blue We're white, we're hockey dynamite" if you feel so inclined
I am in for one spot. Will update if I need another ticket!

It all gone corporate over there,,,,
Forget that you're a Southsider. Just go and show the library crowd how to properly support a home team.
I really hope you guys can fill up the 50 seats. I would postpone my NHL-watching exile for this one match just to hear you guys own the library.
For those keeping score I have 19 ticket sales confirmed and another 6 or 7 either trying to change some plans or waiting to see the response.
Neil. I'm up to 4 tickets now, possibly 5. I'm waiting to get final confirmation then I'll call you to pay
Not interested!

Put me in for one.
Neil, wld u hold two for myself and I will let you know by tomorrow night if it is a go...cheers
It would be funny if we all showed up in our caps gear.
Addict said: It would be funny if we all showed up in our caps gear.
I think it should be mandatory
This could be awesome, and the key will be working with the Canucks to sorting out the permissions. It can be done. Get it sorted, and show the city how it's done next door.
Neil, I'm down for two, especially if we make some noise!
As Canucks fans wear their shirts to our games, lets all wear Whitecaps/Southsiders gear

huh? help me out here please. Why would we need permission young fellaw or anything to that point if we purchase a valid tix and we could dress any way we would like to attend? See no reason to tell anyone. I know what I would like to wear tho....
I believe he means with standing.

Sales update - We have 25 confirmed and 6 that are either waiting to see the response or trying to get the night off. I'm sure there will be some members without internet access at work who will see the posting tonight for the first time. Tomorrow I will try to set up a meeting time at Doolin's or elsewhere with those of you who haven't made arrangements with me yet.
Love it. Can't make it but will look great seeing all those Bell shirts at Rogers arena.
