Tried using the search bar to find a thread on the schedule, if it exists apologies for making a new one
As the Caps are about to finish a 7 game in 24 day stretch (or 6 in 18 days) I can't help but look at their schedule for the year and notice how they have already had a 2 week layoff during the season and still have 2 more remaining. In a league where almost every team has their own building now, and throughout most of the season being the only tennant I don't get why they can't get a little bit closer to a 1 game per week schedule (with some 2 game week exceptions). I can understand the fixture congestion if there are Cup matches thrown in there as well, but why is it difficult to move 2 of these games into those bye weeks? 3 weeks in a row with 2 games just seems like really poor planning by the league.
The league is scheduled by chimps flinging shit at a calendar.
