  • Not the best time to get LA, just coming into some form. Is Robbie Keane back for LA today?

Yeah he's back, from what I've heard. I heard all 3 dps are playing tonight.

I watched the RSL highlights, I wasn't that impressed, RSL had uncharacteristic screwups on each LAG goal.

Again, Rennie does not rotate his lineup. I have a bad feeling this is going to catchup to the squad soon on this long road trip.

Galaxy really look up for it tonight. Not a good feeling right now.

  • disappointing way to concede

Wow, the back four look dead on their feet. Should be at least 3-0 by now.

Make some effin subs at half Rennie. Nanchoff and Camilo for Thorrington and Le Toux. The back 4 have been total garbage but the team needs some more energy here and give some of the regulars a bit of a rest.

LOL, I have heard we have the best defensive line in the MLS.

So disorganized and sloppy. No intensity whatsoever. I want Rennie to make a sub to send a message but who does he put in?

LAG did well to pickup up that Brazilian central back for nothing. Infinitely better than what they were running out there.

Whitecaps are playing poorly but this is the Galaxy team that was promised at the start of the year.

  • Bad game, but lordy, can the toronto sports network announcers (wileman and dazovik) suckhole the Galaxy any more?

    Now a penalty conceded.

This game is a total shit-show. Worst performance of the year for the 'Caps.

I thought that was a tough call, but who cares, this is a loss and time to rest some guys for Wednesday.

We have never scred against the Galaxy in MLS play... Time to correct that stat. I'm thinking maybe sub Thor or Koffie for Hassli and drop Chumiento into midfield for some possession. Try Mattocks out wide and use his speed.

Next game isn't until Wednesday July 4th so resting players shouldn't be an issue.

I still don't get why Hassli sits out every game...Mattocks is good but not that good.

I mentioned in the last game-thread that the 1410 postgame guys had said they were surprised that Thorrington hadn't gotten hurt yet given how many minutes he had played so far. Pretty easy to see coming.

  • Hassli on now. But just don't look like getting anywhere near the goal.

wow... meltdowns at San Jose, New England and now LA... what is with our road form?

I sure hope they get all the jitters out now.

This would have been a great game to get Nanchoff some more time. I don't always understand Rennie's thinking.

Vancouver Whitecaps 2012 away form this season. 2 wins 2 ties 3 losses / GF 5 GA 11. Swiss Cheese back line on the road.

So, Thorrington and Davidson are out of the Colorado game, and that's a tough game to start Robson. Watson, Franks and Koffie? Yikes.

It was Nigel Reed not Wileman. Apart from the I totally agree. Would rather have Mckewan any day.

The Galaxy are actually nice to watch when they are playing that well. Hopefully it doesn't last and Beckham leaves.

We will never make the playoffs. The Vancouver Rapids are doomed. Willy Rennie hasn't got it. Life is an endless cavalcade of sadness and regret.

LA's big three were certainly driven tonight.

Classy touch by Keano to lift the jersey saluting the loss of Irish support James Nolan at the Euro's.

He is sitting out because for the most part he is not producing.

Just got home to check out the lowlites.

I guess we were lucky not to come away with a 5-0 scoreline.

Mattocks the only not in the box for the first goal. 10 men defending but we still leave 1 wide open. Is that how Rennie drew it up?

Surprised to see such a short discussion so far

another game only 2 shots on goal. SOG per game has to be the lowest in the league

  • PVR'd it and just finished watching. That was pretty dreadful viewing. Galaxy looked a different class and we looked like we didn't care. Horrific defending on at their first. They should have had at least five. Their best players played like they were their best players ... ours didn't show up.

    We move on.

  • A tired performance. Yea but move on a hope for a better performance next game

I continue to be annoyed with Rennie's lack of squad rotation, other then at forward or due to injury. He either has far too much faith in his players going on short rest or has far less faith in his depth players then he's let on. Or both.

Mattocks was invisible tonight, his passes were dreadful. Our CBs both got owned, repeatedly. Hope they are well rested come July (3 games in 7 days to start the month). JD was awful tonight, just not with it. DC, Koffie & Camilo were good. I hope Thor is okay.

tim13-I disagree with your assessment of JD.I am not sure how you distinguish between good and awful.Would be interested in your explanation.Maybe then I could be schooled in what I am missing.JD did have some questionable moments but to say DC,Koffie and Camilo were good,is a bit of a stretch.

jemal - I'm not looking to school anyone. Just my opinion based on what I saw.

JD lackadaisically running to the ball and being beat to it by a hustling opposing player. He just didn't have his concentration and situational awareness tonight. He and Bonjour looked tired and slow. They got beat with speed and looked like they were expecting the other to cover. Lack of communication between them. Exhaustion from a lot of games in a short time is probably it. They are human.

The 3 I mentioned were doing their usual routine. Nothing spectacular but doing what they normally do. For instance Gersh out muscled others for the ball frequently and took a free kick quickly when he saw a player unmarked on the left. DC was distributing well, Camilo had some runs at the defense.
