Didn't see a thread for this, so I thought I'd start one.
Honduras-Panama, Friday June 8. 5:30 PM pacific.
A draw is best, but a Panama win wouldn't be horrible in the big picture.

66th minute...fantastic lightning strike on the half-volley!
Wow! Keeper will want the second goal back, but full marks on both. Honduras has had the better run of play, but Panama has absorbed all of their pressure. Honduras is going to be desperate on Tuesday!
So if we can get a result against Honduras, we'll be in a decent position in the group.
Yup, watching this game Hon v Pan I think Honduras is ripe for the picking at BMO field. It feels good to see the Hondurans wince right now I must admit. They just got their asses handed to them.
2-1 for Jamaica over Guatemala just ended
Though a tie would have been better, this is is a good result, as Honduras should be tougher to beat than Panama.
Its Panama thats the one to worry about. Honduras does not look good.
As long as ONE of them isn't good (and everyone beats Cuba), we'll be through to the Hex, and there's no seeding in that, so whether we are first or second in this round is irrelevant.
Honduras will be fired up for the Canada game. It will be a tough one.
Am I missing something, or is there no thread about the match today?

Just the generic thread, I suppose

Save for Belize and Nicaragua, there is no such thing as a bad draw when playing in Central America. The only downside is blowing a lead in the last 10 minutes, but apparently Guatemala had more of the chances, so can't really complain.
I don't actually think it's a bad result for the Yanks, mostly it makes me feel better about our tie and I get to laugh when I see the fan reactions on mls.com. Quick fire Klinsman

Point taken. And I'm now glad I haven't visited MLS.com or Big Soccer tonight. :-)

It looks like Jamaica could have used some Mattocks!
A lot of the matches hung in the balance until fairly late in the second half, but in the end the favourites pulled out at least a point.
You guys remember the 2011 Gold Cup? Guatemala may be short on skill but they play like motherfuckers. They're like the opposite of Canada.
