    I was trying out "You kicked the ball!" and "Goal Kick!". I couldn't think of anything more specific than that.
    Creativity isn't my thing I guess.

    The first few rows in Sec 242 and I were screaming "Gooooooooooooooooooo BRAD!!!!".

    (I'm sure it reminded Knighton of his childhood soccer games, lol).

    Personally, I'm glad the calling out of random sex acts after the "You fat bastard / I shagged your wife" caught on. Great work everybody!

    We were yelling "KNIGHTON" every time he kicked the ball. I thought the whole southend was yelling it. But it just proves that you only hear a few rows around the area you stand in.

    haha yeah it was very awkward during his first kick... extremely faint BOOM... more like a whimper, though i think people just said Eff it and stuck with boom for the rest of the night...

    i mean if he has a cannon for a leg, then i suppose it's OK to say boom? it's probably the only chant the rest of the stadium knows...

    NI is hilarious, but pretty obscure and is not going to carry acoustically as well as BOOM.

    I don't know. There may be stickiness with BOOM, but the stadium is only doing it because the Southside was doing it. Though obviously it will be more difficult to change now.

    Having Knighton in net will be rare throughout the season I suspect, so we only need to feel guilty once in awhile.

    Yes! I love that part! Especially the little, "Ni" that you hear in the background.

    How about as Knighton's lining up for the kick we all yell random gibberish and then when he kicks, we yell, "NI!"
