    Yesterday on Extra Time Radio [(Mar 03, 2011)14:30 min. mark] McKenzie Clark of Emerald City Supporters claimed the Southsiders have 50 members. I know the Southsiders can't compare to the Timber's Army, but they've never reached the lows of the Sounders USL version, close but...

    Affirming the belief that Sounders fans contend they invented soccer in 2009.

    Seattle had the fewest D2 fans of all three Cascadia clubs.


    And frankly, they had no excuse, as they had plenty of room to stretch out in, whereas the Southsiders have always had their growth limited by only having a couple of rickety metal bleachers.


    I can guarantee you that if we have the same sort of grandstand that Portland (and Seattle) had, our numbers would be up there with the Timbers Army.


    What was ECS' excuse?  That they had an NBA team back then? 
    :)  We've had to deal with the Canucks.

    MLS numbers will speak for themselves.

    I'd say that most of the ECS are bandwagon fans. There is still a good core of real football fans but yeah, who cares what they think
