    Ladies & Gentlemen

    This Sunday the MLS fixture Gods have decreed that we have probably the biggest reserve match of the season v Portland Timbers Reserves on a non working day (for most)

    We will be meeting in the SE Corner car park, (entrance off Kingsway) at 1pm for one of the Southsiders legendary tailgates. http://www.tinyurl.com/southsiders

    We will be cooking up burgers and smokies and have a limited number of cans of pop, but feel free to bring your own stronger beverage. Small bills and change is always appreciated.

    Lets get a huge number of Southsiders & Curva out to support our lads, as I'm pretty sure that a few the Timbers Army will be up for the game.

    Last canucks home game started 24 minutes after the scheduled start time. So if you rush you can catch both.

    I think most people that are likely to go to a Caps reserve game aren't likely to be too fussed about the hockey.

    I'm going to see NVFC Campobasso in a Provincial 'B' Cup tie after the reserve game.

    The Whitecaps kick off at 3:00. That means they're finished by around 4:45. The Canucks are scheduled for 5:00, which means they'll drop the puck at 5:15, so even when you factor in say a 30 minute drive, you're probably only missing a few seconds of play, maybe a few minutes, and half the first period at most.
