    I might be joining y'all at Doolin's for this game. It'll depend on if I can score tix to the HNIC game that night. I think I'll be the only Quakes fan in town, so it'll just be me and my "Whats a Soccer?" ladyfriend.

    (additional delicious ironing: My next visit to Vancouver after this weekend will be the weekend of May 5th, when the Quakes come marching in)

    Didn't kickoff get moved to 4pm, or was that for the return game?

    As Schaad and Norman said on the post game show, this is going to be a very important match for us. I have a good feeling that we'll win this one, we'll know what's at stake, San Jose is looking strong, and I think we'll come out on top.

    That is up to shawn, membership@vancouversouthsiders.ca, to decide. But my guess is cards, but not packages as last weekend despite a number of people asking for it to be an event we only distributed one package.

    Thanks, I'll email Shawn. Maybe the early kickoff was the reason for poor response, that was my issue, no way I can get downtown at that time on a Saturday.

    Turnout was actually excellent. It just comes down that most people that come to the away viewings are most likely to have also came to our home game events and picked up their packages then.

    The paper on San Jose is actually worse than ours offensively if you take away their 2 penalty kicks, both of them won the games against the Dynamo and the Neon Green Electroclowns.

    Not much to worry about if the Caps stay sound defensively, I predict the Caps will open up the San Jose defense.

    Sorry I won't be making it to doolin's tonight, my friend was n't fully recovered in time from her Tonsillectomy to make the trip north. So I'm using this weekend to move to Bellevue from Olympia. I will DEFINITELY see you guys May 5th though.

    I'm in Portland this weekend. Anyone know of a pub downtown that might put the Caps game on? The Timbers don't play till 7:30 pm so it shouldn't be a problem.

    These pubs have Direct TV Direct Kick ... so all MLS matches.

    There is. It took me a second to figure it out. you have to click on "Pubs" (its one of the tabs in the box where you're seeing the foursquare garbage).
