I've been in touch with Colorado about this game and will be posting a link to buy tickets in the away section soon. Please confirm if you are planning on making this trip.
They expect it to be close to a sell out due to it being July 4th!
mods can you move this to Away Travel, thank you
Never been to Colorado before. High altitude will mess with alcohol tolerance a bit I think. I will be going to the game along with td04
Kris,
4Loko is known to assist with the high altitude !!! Just a friendly reminder ! ;)
oh dear god... :O
Would love to go, if I had money. Have some family friends who live there. Went to Denver a couple of years back. Struck me as very clean (maybe I just saw the good parts).

You'll be drinking American beer. Problem solved.

They are still allowed to make it? I thought you were going to run to Seattle from Blaine when you slammed down that stuff.
4th of July, so they'll be a lot of beer consumption and fireworks mishaps. Don't step on any displaced thumbs.
Never even thought of fireworks. Me and Kris + beer + fireworks = less thumbs ...
I'll see your thumbs, and raise you 2 fingers!

Invitation to thier pub and tailgate haha this could be interesting
Fire Richard an Email before you go it's on that page. And as long as you are expected I wouldn't expect any problems. Richard and Jordan are both good guys. If you want I can send an email introduction.
I think we may be making a trip down to this match...not sure if it is a bit late to be saying so.
tickets not released yet, link will be available in time.
Mr & Mrs Buzzcut will be attending, then making our way down to LA for the Chivas game on July 7. Extra cardio to compensate for the altitude.
Any word on tickets?
Why thank you good sir!
no problemo
Just got my two tickets. Front row of section 101 seats 3-4 for myself and td04. Looks like we're about the only ones in the section so far. save for possibly seats 1-2 next to us. Regardless how few are in Colorado, rest assured we're going to make an MFT of noise!
My husband and I will be right beside you in 5-6!
That will be a fun night! I can only imagine the 4th of July festivities.

Yes, it will certainly be fun. Trevor and I are planning to attend the prematch with the Bulldogs, bus to the stadium witht them, tailgate and then go to the game
edit: also to be noted, I'm LOUD at games. Hope it wont be a problem
Mr & Mrs Buzzcut will be in Sec 100 Row 2 Seats 1-2 probably right beside the Sec 101 ticketholders. It will be interesting to see what that stadium is like with more people attending than usual. Tailgate would be welcomed !
I was asked to post Trevor and my seat locations for each of the trips. I guess people want to be near us! We MUST be fun... For this game, Sec 101, Row 1 seats 3&4
Just booked the flights for this game and the Chivas game. Waiting for Rapids guy to cal us back re tkts in section 101. What deals/hotels did youfind?
Last year we los in Denver, if we win this time around, does that mean we're in the mile high club?
Hey everyone. I just sent Richard (bulldog supporters) an email about attending thier pub and tailgate. I was wondering who else would be down with attending as I want to give him a number of people we plan on bringing. Thanks!
Christopher, myself and one other will be there. There are two pubs mentioned on the site, the British Bulldog and the Three Lions. Which one are you going to?
the 3 lions is closest to our hotel. ill as richard which place is best to attend when he responds
by the looks of the people who have posted here i think we have 11?
I hope Richard will be wearing his new Southsiders scarf, which I traded with him last weekend.
I'm not sure what our plans are as of yet. Put us (2) down as a tentative yes.
So just trying to get numbers for the tailgate for Richard. So far from reading this thread it looks like we will have 10. (td04 (3), toffeeman (3), shomgotoshi (2), and mrbuzzcut (2))
If there's anyone else lemmi know!
Hi there, just trying to gauge any interest to c if anyone would like to share a ride to Denver n LA and back home. Looks like two of us "may" drive this route and if we do, we would have room from one or two more if anyone is interested. Do you have time off or would you be interested?
Let me know your thoughts if you may be interested!
Loyal bus D traveller...ps..I believe Rich and his girlfriend are going down as well!
Alright so I got some info from Richard at the BSG. We are going to be attending the 3 lions pub on colfax before the game. a bus will leave the 3 lions at 4pm to go to the stadium for the tailgate. Tickets for the bus are $20USD. You have to reserve online at the link provided below. Put down the contact info and in the notes section type Vancouver Supporters.
There are fireworks after the game at the stadium and apparently we can sit on the field for them. The buses will wait until after the fireworks to drive back to the pub.
For the bus: follow the link and click reserve event near the top of the page. then choose the 4pm 3 lions option. put in the contact info and Vancouver supporters in notes section. Pay online by clicking the paypal button on the confirmation page.

After this we have to decide what time to hit the 3 lions that day. Any suggestions?
Hey Trev...would like to try the tavern downtown roof top patio out once if at all possible? Looks like "the" place to b...what a view on web page, tho reviews of food not so great!
Foster the people on the third!! fireworks d/t on the third as well...
Still offer is out there if anyone is looking at coming down last minute to drive?
kris i have booked a place on the bus for you, kyle, and myself
Madman, so down for the rooftop patio.l would the 3rd work?
Wouldanyone driving be willing to bring up some tifo if we made it. Also flags or flagpoles as the home depot in denver is pretty far out of the way from our hotel. its on the way to the stadium though
3 lions at 4pm.....Booked and Done. What is the patio/tavern place you mention? And at what time?
not sure but the reviews online say its full of douchebags and chavs with popped collars
popped collars...perfect....wait
If I drive I would have room for say three people to take over to the game from d/t maybe four. Rich?
Yes I can bring any tifo to Denver n LA if drivin...still have not made decision as hav room for one or two if anyone else is interested????
cheap flights right now on southwest and frontier!!! tough decision!
Actually a few roof top patios if you go onto the Denver city web page that seem like a good time if weather is a perfect ten out! a few other touristy items on here as well like coors factory tour! http://www.denver.org/what-to-do/itinerary/detail?cid=19
:-c
Will get back to you guys about the bus/pub before hand. We are camping SE of Denver, and won't know about gate closure time until we get there on July 1st (currently in Salt Lake City). There isn't much transport out that way, so we may just have to tailgate with everyone.
We arrived in Denver this morning. It is HOT, so come prepared. It hovered in between 93-95 at the Rockies game today.
Turns out that there are no gates at the campsite, and a tram stop right nearby too, so I think we will be joining everyone on the 4pm bus, so long as the tram runs late.
Look forward to seeing people down here!
o great looks like the burn and peel is gonna start early on the trip
