    Found a thread a while ago regarding 2012 Whitecaps and saw the kid's name being mentioned as a potential draft pick. His school just got into the NCAA Quarter finals (I believe last Canadian standing, along with his teammate Allando Matheson who's a TFC Academy product). His coaches at Connecticut speak highly of him on the newspapers and he's been getting minutes at left mid coming off the bench after missing half of the season with a foot injury. I highly doubt if he's going to come out for the draft as it has not been a good season for him but I was impressed with him when I watched him the last 2 weekends and I think he definitely has the potential at left back. What are peoples' thoughts? And could anyone tell me where's Will Hyde? Another quality left back I cannot find information about... one of the many 90 Residency players that have gone missing after being brought in in 07......

    I didn't realize he was hurt or that he was playing left mid? I posted some of those draft comments and then saw his stats for the year and felt a little embarassed.

    I wonder if the Caps have addressed making a home grown claim on a player who was with the pre-MLS academy? I guess it probably wouldn't matter unless Flo has a huge year next season, but it would be an interesting question. Matheson, for example, can't go into the draft without TFC passing on their right to sign him. What Liu's status in that regard?

    He's listed as a defender ( which I'm 99% sure he is a true left back ) but I guess coming back from an injury you get your time where you get them

    Hi, Flo was with his team on a recent tour of the GTA. UConn played three games, all wins. UConn 4, TFC Reserves 0 UConn 3, Hamilton (PDL) 2 UConn 2, Sigma FC (OSL) 0

    Looks like he'll be the starting LB on a pretty good side. I wonder if we can put a HG claim on him?

    I was in the Toronto area and caught 2 of the 3 games (TFC Reserves and Sigma). Liu had 2 Assists in the TFC game and another good performance against Sigma. Seems like he's locked that starting spot pretty good his coach was raving about Liu's performance after the TFC game.

    Saw UCONN play last year in the Big East semi-finals and finals. Gotta say he was pacey, quick going forward, really impressive. Would bring so much to the caps, overlapping winger a la Ashley Cole or Bale when he was playing back. HUGE potential.
