The deadline for nominations for the 2011 Southsiders Executive Board elections is fast approaching, and there are several positions which remain uncontested.

We need volunteers who care about developing supporters culture in Vancouver to really step up and get involved.

If you can spare just one night a month for board meetings, you can make an important and significant contribution to the Southsiders organization.

All members who joined prior to June 1, 2011, and who are over the age of 18, are eligible to run for elected office.

Please check the new "Election 2011" category on our online discussion forum, as this is where nominations are posted.

Go to http://forum.vancovuersouthsiders.ca  On the right you will see a category list, with "2011 Election" at the very bottom.

The final deadline for nominations is 7:00 pm on Friday, November 25, 2011.

We are also looking for some election night volunteers to help distribute and count ballots at the AGM on Monday December 5 at The Cellar.
