If you are an eligible voter who cannot attend the AGM, you can assign your vote to another eligible voter who will be in attendance. This is called “voting by proxy.”
Proxy votes must be registered by contacting the Ombudsman, Wendy Case, via this form
The Ombudsman will provide you with a link to an online form that allows you to designate another member to vote on your behalf.
Proxy votes are non-transferable. If you assign your proxy vote to a voting member, the member cannot assign your proxy vote to a third party.
Proxy votes are however reversible. If you wish to revoke a proxy that you have assigned to another voter, you must notify the Ombudsman in writing immediately.
The deadline for proxy registrations and revocations Friday, December 2 @ 7:00 pm. This is 48 hours prior to the commencement of the Annual General Meeting.
Please Note: Neither the Ombudsman nor the Executive Board have any means of ensuring that the bearer of your proxy vote will cast your ballot in the manner you have asked them to. Please make responsible choices.
